Your new team

The Acute Stroke and Neurology ward is a 31 bed specialist medical unit. We have 20 dedicated stroke care beds, 10 of these are cardiac monitored to a central station for our acute stroke care. 11 of our beds are for specialised Neurology patients. We are world leaders in Endovascular Clot retrieval (ECR), and see a multitude of patients with very rare neurological conditions.

Your new role

We have a full time position available with our team on Ward 8B. We are a current positive COVID-19 ward, if you're interested in understanding the complex respiratory care of COVID-19 patients then we would love to discuss our position with you.

About you

• You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development


• You are an AHPRA registered Nurse with ward experience and are willing to work a range of AM/PM & ND shifts, within our supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team


• You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style


• If you are looking to expand your nursing skills, and work with world leaders of neurological disorder treatment and research - then this just may be the ward for you.
