About Ward 3A- Medical Oncology Unit

Ward 3A is a 32 Bed Medical Oncology unit with a 4-bed overnight phase 1 Clinical Trials Unit.

Our Patients receive care and treatment under the following medical specialities:

• Sarcoma/Bone & Soft Tissue


• Head & Neck


• Lung


• Skin & Melanoma


• Adolescent & young adult cancers with the support from the ONTrac clinical service

Your role in our future.

We are seeking registered nurses with the following:

• Minimum 12 months experience in acute nursing


• Preferably applicants with recent oncology experience


• Demonstrated commitment to professional development


• High level of interpersonal and communication skills with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams


• Commitment to improvement and quality initiatives to benefit patient care


• Sound patient assessment skills and demonstrated critical thinking and initiatives
