We are looking for passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses with 12 months recent acute clinical experience to join our Nurse Resource Transition Pool as a Registered Nurse. 

Being part of the NRTP team, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of general and specialty areas at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. This exposure to different clinical settings will support successful applicants in further developing their nursing skills. With extensive opportunities to gain further education and mentoring, you will feel supported to meet clinical standards and expectations.

We offer a variety of shifts across the week to ensure our employees have flexible working options.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Provide high quality standards of patient care. This includes the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
  • Work across a range of general and speciality wards across two campuses with The Royal Melbourne Hospital
  • Perform nursing interventions and procedures in accordance with Royal Melbourne Hospital policy and procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge/competency in performance of clinical skills relevant to level of expertise

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You are compassionate and committed to providing high quality person-centred patient care
  • You are an AHPRA Registered Nurse with 12 months acute clinical experience and are willing to work a range of AM/PM & ND shifts, within our supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team
  • You are ready for a new variety of clinical experiences to enhance your professional growth
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills which allow you to positively communicate in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a high level of reliability and professional conduct
  • Have a professional ‘can do’ and flexible approach to changing work environments
