The Camperdown Campus hospital comprises of a total 63 beds (25 acute, 36 aged care and 2 bed urgent care centre), birthing suites/midwifery services, palliative care services, one operating theatre, radiology and pathology services and district nursing services. Also within Camperdown is the South West Healthcare’s Manifold Place Community Health, David Newman Day Centre and the Camperdown Mental Health Service.

About the role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Registered Nurses for permanent part time position in our Operating Theatre at the Camperdown Campus. This highly capable team work cohesively along with various clinical services to provide positive outcomes for patients and their families in a safe and caring environment.

The position is part time 19 hours per fortnight. 

What you bring

Applicants should have well-developed clinical and problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded. A post graduate qualification in the specialty area of perioperative nursing is desired but not essential.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020, with the appropriate classification Registered Nurse Grade 2.
