Your role in our future.

The Short Stay Unit provides inpatient postoperative care for oncology patients prior to transfer to specialty wards or discharge home. SSU also has 2 cardiac monitored beds with capability to provide continuous cardiac observations alongside rapid patient assessment and interventions to stabilise presenting symptoms relating to disease and treatment regime. Additional training is required to care for these patient groups.

We are currently recruiting highly motivated registered nurses for permanent part time positions working a rotating roster. You will be joining a team of highly skilled nurses, supported by a practice development nurse during the week.

 The ideal applicant will have recent experience in an acute inpatient setting and ability to work in a fast paced dynamic ward environment.

Remuneration in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 (Classification Scale: YP3 (Year 2) $69,253.60 – YP9 (Year 10) $92,601.60.
