About the Ward


Kingston South 4 is a 30 bed Subacute Rehabilitation Ward providing care and assistance with recovery for a diverse range of patients who have been in hospital and require complex interdisciplinary interventions.


About The Role


We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Ward on a part time, ongoing basis. We operate on a 24/7 rotational roster including morning, afternoon and night shift.


Your strong clinical skills will be regularly demonstrated as you undertake complex discharge planning, complex wounds, patient training, address continence and catheter issues to see that all patients are treated with dignity and respect as they transition into longer term Residential care or back into their home environment.


About You


With demonstrated experienced as a Registered Nurse, you understand the importance of patient centred care. You have experience within an acute setting and have a genuine interest in working and interacting with our diverse patients who, at times, can demonstrate challenging behaviours due to previous acquired brain Injuries.  


Your critical thinking, willingness to learn and ability to work cohesively and share knowledge within a team will see you excel in this role whilst we provide you with guidance, support and training to learn the rhythm of rehabilitation.  You thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.


What You Need:



  • Relevant Qualification (aligned to position description)

  • Demonstrated clinical experience (aligned to position description)

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Australian working rights

  • Proof of Immunisation
