The Opportunity
Albury Wodonga Health require a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team on Surgical Ward 2. Surgical Ward 2 is a 30 bed unit, specialising in the pre and post operative care of elective (general surgery, ENT, urology, vascular) and emergency surgery/ trauma patients. Primary responsibilities include General nursing duties, pre and post operative monitoring and observation, IV & CVAD management comprehensive patient assessment, escalation of deterioration, complex wound management and multidisciplinary care planning. Scholarships may be available for relevant postgraduate studies such as wound management & Stomal Therapy for the successful applicant.
