About Ward A, Casey Hospital

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.

Our Surgical Ward A at Casey Hospital delivers a variety of services to Emergency and Elective Surgery including Gynaecology, Urology, Plastics, ENT, General and Neurology. Our Ward A also runs Urology Outpatients Clinics.

About the Role

Ward A has the opportunity for Registered Nurses (permanent positions) to join an amazing team and be part of the growth of the services at Casey hospital and provide care to the broader community.

The care we provide can range from customary to critical complex care with both expecting a high patient focus delivered by team driven approach, prioritisation of our patients is paramount. 

Education is an important aspect on our ward, providing support and assistance to ensure you are capable of managing our patients, with a view to furthering your acute skills. We provide prospect to attend conferences and courses along with onsite clinical specialists to support our areas of expertise to grow our own.

Ward A has Part time and full time ongoing opportunities for Registered Nurses - rotating across a 7 day roster, all shifts.

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with surgical experience, who is motivated and committed to leading by example and delivering a patient-focussed service. You thrive in a well-supported environment and have the drive to grow your career in nursing as the scope of our practice increases with the demand of the service.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Surgical Experience in an Acute setting is essential

  • Current Australian Working rights
