About South 5 – Kingston Centre at Monash Health

Kingston Centre plays a vital role in the community providing aged care, aged mental health services & highly regarded rehabilitation programs for consumers of all ages. We provide a range of specialist health care and support services to older people.

South 5 is a slow stream rehabilitation and geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) unit. We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient care to assist patients get back into the community. We are a collaborative and close knit team who value high quality patient care demonstrating the Monash Health iCare values for every patient and day. 

About The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. We currently have a Part Time position available:

  • 0.73EFT (56 hours per fortnight) Fixed Term Maternity Leave replacement position until May 2022

Working across a 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shift we are looking for your flexibility within this role.

Our entire Ward and wider department is dedicated to delivering a high standard of patient care, ensuring that all patients are treated with dignity, respect and providing our patients with the best quality of life, delivering positive outcomes within our multi-disciplinary team.

About You

With your supportive and approachable demeanour you will be willing to share your knowledge and experience with the team. In turn you will be offered a supportive environment to grow your Nursing potential.

What You Need:

  • Proven clinical experience within a rehabilitation and/or geriatric nursing environment

  • Leadership experience

  • A proactive focus to your work

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Employee level Working with Children’s Check
