The new Kingston Dialysis Unit upon its opening will represent an exciting opportunity to meet the dialysis teams across Monash Health. 


The Kingston Satellite Dialysis Unit is a brand new 12 chair, free-standing, purpose-built unit, equipped to service ambulatory haemodialysis patients. The service is dedicated to delivering a high standard of patient centred care, education and psychosocial support for people who require ongoing haemodialysis.

The Monash Health Department of Nephrology is one of the largest nephrology departments in Australia. It delivers nephrology services throughout the south-eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne, extending into Gippsland.


About The Roles  


We are currently seeking highly passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses with proven dialysis experience to be a part of establishing a new Kingston Satellite Dialysis Unit is planned to open in late 2022 and will be situated at the Monash Health Kingston Centre. We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to join the Kingston Dialysis Team now. Initially you will be working across the multiple Monash Health sites and transition to a permanent role at the Kingston Dialysis Unit when it opens in late 2022. 


Ongoing Full or Part Time positions, initially working across multiple sites until the Kingston Dialysis Unit opens. Shifts include AM, PM and twilights, Monday to Saturday. 


About You 


You are an accomplished RN with demonstrated experience in haemodialysis, coupled with a strong desire to build on your nursing and clinical skills.  You thrive working in a dynamic team environment, display a positive ‘can do’ attitude and are excited to be a part of establishing a new dialysis team.


You are professional, patient centred and role model a high standard of care, focusing on evidence-based practice. You enjoy working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to meet the?complex care needs of your patients. You have well developed communication, assessment, problem solving and organisational skills. 


What You Need 



  • relevant qualification 

  • current registration with AHPRA 

  • demonstrated haemodialysis experience, with sound knowledge of Renal Nursing 

  • Competent using Baxter Artis machines (training available)  

  • Australian working rights
