Located on the beautiful Great South Coast, South West Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric services. About the role
Our Short Stay Unit a past paced Monday to Friday surgical unit. We cater for a range of surgical elective and emergency patients. Patients are from various specialities including but not limited to Orthopaedics, Plastics, urology, ENT and General Surgery. We also care for a range of medical patients as required. The highly skilled Registered Nurses within the Short Stay Unit work cohesively along with various clinical services to provide positive outcomes for patients and their families in a safe and caring environment.

Accommodation and relocation assistance to support with your move to our vibrant seaside regional city of Warrnambool is available and will be considered on an individual basis. Warrnambool is a prime location in the South West of Victoria and is only a short drive to shops and neighbouring country towns and attractions, with little to no traffic making for an easy commute to work.
What you bring
The successful applicant will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN) and a minimum of 12 months relevant experience, preferably with a surgical background. As an RN you will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and you will provide best practice, patient centred care in a safe and caring environment.
Excellent management and communication skills are essential and evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.
