Registered Psych Nurse - CRCU

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the CRCU team at Latrobe Regional Hospital on a Part Time/ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager the successful applicant will play an important role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care to mental health clients, by demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively within the mental health frame work.

The successfull applicant will:

  • Have the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to mental health clients
  • Have commitment to appropriate inpatient based treatment for people with a psychiatric illness including recovery frameworks and the reduction of seclusion and restraint practices
  • Have commitment to ongoing professional training and development
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external services
