Victoria's highest Court is seeking a motivated individual to join the Court of Appeal Registry as a Registry Administration Officer.

The Registry Administration Officer (Court of Appeal) primarily supports the Judicial Registrar, Deputy Registrar (Administration) and the Senior Registry Officers in maintaining the day to day operations of the Court of Appeal.

Duties include:


  • Perform a range of general administrative functions including initiation of appeals and applications, listing hearings, processing correspondence and preparing orders.


  • Update the Court's computerised case management system (CourtView) and other relevant databases as required.


  • Assist and support the Court of Appeal Registry team members in effective delivery of customer service.


  • Provide assistance with electronic, telephone and counter enquiries from external and internal clients.


  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Court of Appeal Registry by assisting in the development and implementation of new practices and procedures.

The successful candidate will have sound written, interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. 

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity until November 2021.
