YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE

 

Fixed Term (24 months) Full Time, 80 hours a fortnight with ADO
 
Applications are invited for a research assistant in the Department of Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, Cancer Imaging at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The project aims to develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals (theranostic) for metastatic cancer. The radiopharmaceutical Sciences team is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team including experts in peptide chemistry, radiochemistry, tumour biology, biochemistry, cancer imaging, and nuclear medicine. This particular position will focus on validating novel theranostic ligands in vitro and ex-vivo.

The position requires a research scientist highly skilled in performing cell-based binding and functional assays. Candidates with background in medicinal chemistry and structural biology, biochemistry or pharmacology will be prioritised. Experience in cell-based assays (ligand binding and functional assays) of radiopharmaceutical and radiotracers is highly desired.
