  • Ongoing VPS 5 role responsible for the development & implementation of the Integrity Framework
  • Provide expert advice and support on respect & integrity related issues and standards, in accordance with the Integrity Framework, CSV policies and relevant legislation. In addition, provide subject matter expertise to the efficient and effective mgmt of CSV’s integrity policies including Fraud, Corruption, Theft and Other Losses, Conflict of Interest & Declaration of Private Interests, Declarable Associations, and Gifts, Benefits & Hospitality.
  • Review the Integrity Framework and its associated program of work including developing a mechanism & policy approach and procuring the right training & support. Raise awareness of integrity standards & ethical decision-making, in line with the Respect in the Workplace policy & materials provided by Respect Victoria.

About us

Court Services Victoria (CSV) was established on 1 July 2014 as an independent statutory body corporate to provide corporate and administrative services that support judicial independence in the administration of justice in Victoria. CSV provides support services to the Supreme Court; the County Court; the Magistrates' Court; the Children's Court; and the Coroners Court, as well as the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria and the Judicial Commission of Victoria.
CSV is a unique organisation within the Victorian public sector. It is founded on the basis of judicial leadership of courts administration. It recognises that each jurisdiction has an administration headed by its own Chief Executive Officer who is accountable directly to the head of that jurisdiction. This reflects their independence as well as the different needs and functions of the courts and VCAT. It also recognises that, at the operational level, there is a need for dedicated, responsive and specialised support services.

At the same time CSV operates as a single statutory body corporate with a number of services and functions provided centrally which provide economies of scale, expertise in specialist areas and ensure that the organisation is able to meet its statutory obligations.

About the role

The Respect and Integrity Advisor is responsible for developing and monitoring CSV's integrity priorities and objectives and the development and implementation of the plan which translates the Integrity Framework into action. The Respect and Integrity Advisor is also a key contact for CSV employees to confidentially raise concerns about workplace wrongdoing, unethical  conduct or integrity risk. This role is responsible for providing effective and reliable reporting systems for those employees wishing to raise a concern or complaint, and for providing appropriate support and protection to those who do.
