RIS/PACS Administrator (Technical)



  • Information Communications Technician ideally with experience in Radiology/Healthcare

  • The position's key role will be to support, troubleshoot, analyse and maintain Imaging Information Systems servers, workstations and applications.

  • Assisting in day to day support of the Carestream RIS & PACS and associated software and hardware systems.

  • Patient centred and customer focused support is a must.

About Monash Imaging


The Monash Imaging incorporates services at Monash Medical Centre - Clayton; Monash Children’s Hospital, Clayton; Dandenong Hospital, Dandenong; Casey Hospital, Berwick; Moorabbin Hospital and Kingston Centre, Cheltenham. The service provides over 350,000 imaging examinations per year across all sites.  The Service currently employs approximately 430 EFT, and has a gross operating budget in excess of $80M.


Monash Imaging clearly defines its purpose as the delivery of leading-edge, evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, research and education that meets the needs of our community.  This is evidenced by the large number of publications, research and beta agreements currently in place.  The collaborative agreements and published research are indicators of leadership and expertise in the field of Radiology.

What you need:



  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in ICT or Imaging.

  • A satisfactory police check.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Healthcare IT processes, practices and applications (specifically RIS/PACS)

  • An understanding of information communication and technology service requirements in an acute health setting.

  • Experience in Server and Workstation maintenance and support.

  • Proven abilities relating to workflow analysis and design.

Location


This role will be based at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton but will be required to travel between sites.
