RN Grade 2 (YP3 - YP11)




Casual positions available



We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This casual position and includes working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster including participation.


The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and co-ordinating all aspects of quality patient care within the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate safe clinical skills and time management skills whilst working collaboratively as an active team member within a framework of continuous quality improvement, and economic resource utilisation.


This position involves insert key responsibilities reflected in Position Description.


Key Selection Criteria:


Essential:



  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

  • Clinical Skills and experience relevant to emergency nursing

  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement, customer service and patient centred care

  • Proficiency in the use of information technology

  • Able to work effectively both in a team and autonomously 



Desirable:



  • Post Graduate/Certificate qualifications

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support or willingness to obtain the qualification

  • Experience with Ability to work in Triage
