Emergency Department

RN Grade 2 (YP3 - YP11)

We are seeking dynamic Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department.These casual positions include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and co-ordinating all aspects of quality patient care within the Emergency Department. The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate safe clinical skills and time management skills whilst working collaboratively as an active team member within a framework of continuous quality improvement, and economic resource utilisation.

Key Selection Criteria:

Essential:


  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Clinical Skills and experience relevant to emergency nursing
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement, customer service and patient centred care
  • Proficiency in the use of information technology
  • Able to work effectively both in a team and autonomously

Desirable:


  • Post Graduate/Certificate qualifications
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support or willingness to obtain the qualification
  • Experience with Ability to work in Triage
