About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team at Grampians Health across our 3 Care Communities (Wimmera Nursing Home, Kurrajong Lodge & Dimboola Campus). These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster. The successful applicant will deliver individualised nursing care with a person centred approach, encouraging residents and families to participate in all stages of care.

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Organisational experience congruent with experience
  • Excellent Communication and problem solving skills
  • Commitment to quality improvement and superior customer service
  • Proficiency in the use of information technology

Desirable:

  • Clinical Skills relevant to area
  • Aged care nursing experience

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.

All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask.  Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
