Grampians Health incorporates Horsham & Dimboola, Ballarat, Edenhope and Stawell Campuses. Grampians Health - Dimboola campus includes an updated facility designed to accommodate 26 aged care residents and 4 acute care beds, all on one level to allow for ease of access, ensuring quality and comfortable accommodation and care in a friendly home-like environment.
Dimboola and the Region
Dimboola is located between Nhill and Horsham, with the Wimmera River hugging the town, lined with red gums and walking tracks. The small town isonly 10 kilometres from the beautiful and famous pink lake, the mostpicturesque salt lake in Victoria and 30 minutes from Horsham city centre.
The Position
The Dimboola Campus Manager role involves management and leadership of the Nursing and General Services team at the Grampians Health Dimboola Campus to ensure person centred, quality care is provided to the residents and patients. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the challenge and variety of a busy rural facility and wants to making a positive difference. The Dimboola Campus Manager is supported by the Aged Care Services Director, Nurse Unit Managers and a dedicated staff group who have a fantastic rapport with the residents and make the facility feel like home.
Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with management experience, strong leadership and mentoring skills and a passion for Aged Care.
This permanent full / part time position is available for an immediate start and includes working Monday to Friday (hours can be flexible and role can be job shared for the right applicants). Accommodation, relocation allowance and transport can be negotiated for the desired applicant.
