About us

COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) is responsible for Victoria's COVID-19 Accommodation response, including:

  • Mandatory quarantine for returned overseas travellers
  • Emergency Accommodation for people that cannot safely isolate/quarantine in their accommodation.

The Victorian Chief Health Officer has mandated that all returning overseas travellers arriving in Victoria must go into mandatory quarantine for 14 days from the day of their arrival to help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

In addition, CQV is responsible for the operation of Victoria's Emergency Accommodation program for community members and their close contacts who have tested positive for COVID-19 and where an assessment has concluded that there are no other suitable alternative accommodation options for self-isolation.

Infection control and prevention is the primary objective of the mandatory quarantine and emergency accommodation programs.

About the role

The Rostering Coordinator helps produce and maintain rosters across a 24/7 workforce. The position will involve shift work. This means the Rostering Coordinator will work across the 24/7 work pattern, including public holidays.

This role also includes:

  • Manage configurable changes to HR systems and other systems to ensure change supports and enhances the functionality and integrity of these systems.
  • Log and triage all incidents, service requests and change requests, ensuring all mandatory information is completed, including correct classification and prioritisation with escalation to vendors (NIMBUS and Biometric Identity Systems) as required.
  • Manage and coordinate all deployment activities (i.e. upgrades) for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments in collaboration with vendors and relevant support teams.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in providing support services for enterprise systems that have required troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the NIMBUS system in either an operational or project environment.
  • Understanding of deployment and testing activities required as part of new application releases.
  • Demonstrated experience in roster creation is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. tertiary qualifications in an IT, or a business-related discipline) is highly desirable.
