GV Health are currently undergoing a $219 million redevelopment, this redevelopment includes a new renal dialysis unit, an expanded emergency department including satellite medical imaging, inpatient wards, extended theatre space, intensive care unit, a new kitchen, mortuary and the establishment of a Women’s and Children’s precinct featuring a new, special care nursery, paediatric ward and refurbished maternity ward.

The role


We are seeking a motivated individual as the Regional and Rural Partnerships Manager. The Regional and Rural Partnerships Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation and monitoring of collaborative arrangements. The position will also lead collaborative arrangements with rural health service providers to facilitate strategic and service planning across relevant catchments and enable implementation of agreed frameworks for the provision of consistent, safe, high quality services within the regional catchment.

To be successful in the role you will need:



  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications

  • Relevant skills and experience in design and development of governance and clinical goverance frameworks with relevant experience in project management

  • A working knowledge of current challenges, opportunities and community aspirations of a public health sector, or the ability to achieve this in a reasonable time frame.

  • Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.

  • A sound knowledge of computer based software applications including Word / Excel / database management systems.
