Are you a student nurse looking for work while you study?

We currently have opportunities for 2nd year student nurses to support our COVID Response teams as Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON).

This role will provide you with financial assistance as you complete your nursing studies and assist Western Health with the provision of Best Care. Positions are currently available at our Respiratory Assessment Clinics (RAC) and Vaccination Hubs, along with the opportunity for COVID Support roles within the wards (if required during pandemic surges).

To be successful in this role you:

  • Are currently enrolled at a University and undertaking undergraduate nursing studies

  • Have completed at least 12 months of a Bachelor of Nursing program

  • Are able to commit to a minimum of two shifts per fortnight

  • Have the ability to work rostered shifts
