Salesforce Developer

  • $127,467 - $170,579 (plus superannuation)
  • Fixed Term – 12 months
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available and weekend rotation work required)
  • Usual work location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne VIC (flexibility may be available)

The Team

The position of Salesforce Developer forms a part of the Delivery Group and Program Centre.

The Program Centre supports the oversight and administration of grants and grant programs across DJPR. The Program Centre's aim is to drive continuous improvement to efficiently and effectively administer grant programs to deliver outcomes for the Victorian Government and the community.

The Role

The Salesforce Developer will develop Salesforce Lightning Solutions and apply best practices in software development and digital transformation to support the delivery of the department's key grant programs that drive outcomes industry and community sectors across the Victorian economy.

This role sits within the Program Centre's System Process & Design (SPD) team that embraces iterative, agile software delivery and regular release cadence and works collaboratively with stakeholders and partners for new systems design to ensure efficient and effective execution of grants business processes, best user experience and continuous innovation.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

  • Provide leadership and actively contribute to all agile ceremonies.
  • Provide analysis and review of functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Design and delivery of solutions and technical coding strategies.
  • Implement the requirements in the development environment from solution and functional architecture deliverables.
  • Manage code repositories and test classes follow the Department's continuous integration processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience on developing in lightning web component on Salesforce platform, you will have integrated external applications with Salesforce using APIs and/or middleware, have certifications on Salesforce development and excellent strategic thinking ability, demonstrated leadership skills along with strong expertise in software development and digital transformation projects.
