The Information Management and Technology Division guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.

IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security and integration.

About the opportunity

A fantastic ongoing opportunity in the Digital Innovation Branch in the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD). The IMTD's function is to provide innovative and integrated ICT Systems and information management services and support and is undertaking a transformation program of work to drive digital innovation and maturity. IMTD is a large Division, with approximately 400 permanent and contracted staff with oversight of some large managed service contracts, including the Technical Support for Schools Program (TSSP) that provides approximately 700 technicians to support schools.

The function of the Information Management and Technology Digital Innovation Branch is to provide the core functions of architecture services, digital platform services, agile services, business engagement, and business analysis.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

• Atlassian Product suite experience (JIRA/Confluence).
• Good knowledge of multiple Agile methodologies, rules, patterns and practices (Ex - SAFe, LeSS SCRUM , KANBAN , Lean etc ).
• Experience working in a Scrum Master role in establishing and leading agile teams and execution for at least three years within product development teams working as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate adoption and transition to agile methodology from traditional waterfall.
• Ensure the consistent and uniform application of the agile practice for the agile team(s) they lead.
• Support product owners with inputs and advice, especially with respect to product backlog refinement and prioritization.
