Newly created role

Opportunity for exceptional communicator with proven conceptual and analytical skills to join us in a newly created role as Security & Safety Analyst.  Working with the Director, Security & Safety and the Occupational Violence & Aggression Clinical Nurse Consultancy Manager you will play a key role in developing RMH's strategic and operational security and safety function.

Key responsibilities:

  • The critical role will provide specialist advice and recommendations in respect of the analysis of intelligence and statistical data, identification and evaluation of emerging patterns and trends in crime and violence, and safety incidents across RMH sites.

  • Identify behaviours of concern (BOC) undertake daily analysis of security hot spot data.

  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Victoria Police to obtain assistance in the provision of timely and accurate intelligence.

  • Support the Security Safety Strategy and Occupational Violence & Aggression (OVA) Framework in consultation with stakeholders and the OVA and security teams.

  • Take part in service improvement initiatives in reducing the risks associated with OVA.

About you:

  • Results driven with the ability to problem solve in a complex and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management, engagement, and relationship skills. 

  • Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proven conceptual and analytical skills, able to review information and identify trends, patterns and issues and provide advice.

  • Experience in research and analysis with knowledge of or experience in, intelligence analysis, criminology, criminal justice, technology.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills and proven ability to produce high quality reports

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment (desirable).

  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence (essential).
