In this role you will:

The Senior Adviser is responsible for the following functions:

  • Manages compliance monitoring programs and projects to ensure compliance with law and standards. This includes raising awareness, clarifying obligations, producing guidance and influencing business compliance.
  • Research, investigate, gather and review evidence, analyse and interpret complex information to support the division's work.
  • External and internal stakeholder engagement and liaison, including responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain relevant policies, processes and procedures.
  • Assesses potential breaches and determines the appropriate compliance and enforcement pathway.
  • Draft correspondence, briefings, decisions, notices, industry guidance, papers, reports.
  • Works with licensees to remediate non-compliance and promote compliance.
