An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Adviser, Communication Strategy is responsible for providing high-quality and effective communications, issues and risk management, media and stakeholder engagement services and advice to senior stakeholders and portfolio-aligned teams within DPC, in support of the delivery of key initiatives and government priorities.

The Strategic Communication, Engagement & Protocol branch (SCEP) leads a coordinated approach to communication, engagement and protocol across government.  SCEP has a key role in influencing and encouraging the delivery of modern and professional communication and engagement services and standards across government, and shaping Victorian Government communication strategy, policy and practice.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality, innovative media and communication strategies and materials through a variety of channels.
