About the role

Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria (CPVV) is the regulator for the commercial passenger vehicle industry in Victoria. CPVV is at the forefront of commercial passenger vehicle regulation in Australia. We led the nation by being the first State to establish a single commercial passenger industry, providing Victorians with greater transport choices.

This position is responsible for initiating, developing and evaluating solutions that will position CPVV as an innovative regulator that seeks to partner with external stakeholders to achieve a safe and competitive industry. This position sits in the Customer Service division of CPVV as part of the Communications and Engagement Team. This team is responsible for communicating with stakeholders, the public and media regarding CPVV activities, regulation, government initiatives and other industry issues.

About you

In addition to having significant communications and media experience, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience developing and implementing communication and media plans, initiatives and projects.
  • Develop high-quality communication materials including media releases, briefing notes, web copy, scripts, newsletters and reports.
  • Experience actioning and managing responses to media enquiries.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and customers
