A rare and exciting opportunity to join the Industry Capability and Development team and lead the Constructionarium program.
Major Road Projects Victoria
Working at Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) means being part of something big.
We oversee more than 50 projects as a cornerstone of Victoria's Big Build, including some of the State's most important roads.
And naturally it is critical we have a capable industry workforce – which is where you come in! As a Senior Advisor, Industry, Capability & Development, you will capture accurate training initiatives and interact with the Learning and Development team and engage with training providers both in the setting up and delivery of training of our Technical Training Program, Constructionarium.
In this critical role you will be part of MRPV's dynamic Industry Capability and Development team. You will work with the broader organisation, our construction partners, and industry stakeholders to ensure an integrated and strategic approach that delivers MRPV's industry capability and development initiatives.
This is a three year fixed term contract opportunity. Due to active involvement in the Constructionarium program the role is based in Hallam for ten business days a month and from the CBD for the remainder (hybrid). This role will also have fire warden and office management responsibilities during the on-site training delivery in Hallam.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which include national police checks and misconduct screening. Please be advised that it is requirement for all MTIA staff to be compliant with the MTIA COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (the Policy). The Policy stipulates that, unless an employee is an Excepted Person within the meaning of the Policy, in order to attend an MTIA workplace the employee must hold ‘up-to-date' vaccination status in accordance with ATAGI guidance, which for most includes their primary vaccination course and booster. Should you require further information about the Policy, please have a conversation with our Talent Acquisition team.
