Senior Change Analyst

  • $103,920 - $125,735 (Plus Superannuation)

The Team

The position of Senior Change Analyst forms a part of the Resources Branch within the Forestry, Resources and Climate Change Group.

The Resources Branch develops policy, programs and regulation to enable investment and generate jobs through the sustainable development of the State's earth resources, including extractives, minerals and petroleum.

The Role

The Senior Change Analyst is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of internal and external change management activities required to enable delivery of a new online licensing system to support the Victorian Earth Resources Regulator.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Manage the design and delivery of change management frameworks and methodology including  scoping, impact assessment, strategy, plan and risk mitigation, communications, capability assessment, resistance management and coaching.
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and analysis in creating detailed communication plans,  in partnership with ERR's Regulatory Governance team, other teams within ERR and Resources Branch. Consult with key stakeholders on complex and sensitive issues by enabling sound decision-making on change management activities.
  • Conduct detailed change impact assessments, identify and manage risk and issues using change methodologies to support change management activities. 

The Candidate

You will work effectively as a member of a small project team and undertake a wide variety of change management duties. The role requires excellent written communication skills, stakeholder engagement and collaboration with other teams, including the ability to work in high pressure environments and across a diverse  group of stakeholders both internally and externally.
