• Salary range $100 000 - $114 000 with salary packaging options available


• Option 1: 32 hours per week


• Option 2: 2 positions 16 hours per week

About the role



  • Manage complex presentations with Acute/Subacute Inpatients at the Psychology Department at Eastern Health.  

  • Provide a responsive, evidence basedservice to patients on the acute and subacute wards, primarily within inpatient rehabilitation and geriatric, evaluation and management programs.

  • Oversee neuropsychology service provision to the rehabilitation streams including quality control of service delivery and management and oversight of complex cases.

  • Ability to provide clinical supervision (including student supervision).

  • You will be required to travel across multiple sites – the rehabilitation wards are based at Angliss Hospital and Peter James Centre so preference will be to be based at one or both of these sites. Geriatric wards are across all sites. Individual preference to work at other sites Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital and Wantirna Health can be considered.


About you



  • Specialised knowledge in a wide range of neuropsychological disorders, and expertise and skill in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adult and older adults.

  • Experience working  in hospital environments and skilled in the assessment of decision-making capacity (essential).

  • Expertise in clinical work such as specialised neuropsychological assessment and neuropsychology interventions.

  • Skilled in contributing to multidisciplinary teams and provision of education to clients and carers.
