The Role:


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, on-going Clinical nutrition Pharmacist to join our dedicated and dynamic team.  As part of the Royal Children’s Hospital Sterile Pharmacy team, this role is responsible for coordinating sterile manufacture, quality assurance, and managing quality improvement projects related to clinical nutrition. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the Clinical Nutrition team to provide evidence based care to patients requiring parenteral nutrition solutions, both inpatient and outpatients. Another requirement of this role is to contribute to other areas of the pharmacy service as required and to contribute to on call, public holiday hours and weekend services.



To be successful in this role you will have:



  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a hospital pharmacist, post registration. (desirable)

  • Postgraduate qualifications or undertaking a post graduate course (desirable)

  • Registration to practice as a pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency & name appears on the register of the Pharmacy Board of Australia

  • A minimum of 2 year’ Clinical nutrition or sterile production experience (desirable)
