Opportunity for experienced clinicians to join the CAMHS leadership team.
From the Royal Commissioners final report into Victoria’s Mental Health System a series of structural, clinical and cultural reforms are being implemented. Senior clinicians within the CAMHS program will be an invaluable component in providing clinical oversight and support to our expanding service.
The Position
Position Title: Senior Clinician - Child And Adolescent Mental Health
Classification: NP75 – NP77, YB24 - YB27, YC46 - YC49
Salary per hour (exc. super): $49.42 - $58.63
Hours per fortnight: up to 80
Employment Status: Permanent & fixed-term

Role Description
Successful applicants will be clinicians with commitment to reflective practice & ongoing professional development. A valued member of the multidisciplinary team, who will enjoy a variety of opportunities clinically and be actively involved in service development & innovative mental health service provision. Utilising your clinical expertise in assessment and clinical observation, offering family sensitive practice, therapeutically working with both individuals and familes, as well as offering a group parenting program, collaborating closely with other service providers to facilitate holistic treatment and care.
With the plan to transition to a CYMHS (0-25) service within coming years, the CAMHS senior clinicians will be pivotal in leading and supporting the team through this change process.

The Team
CAMHS is a community based, multidisciplinary team that works with children and adolescents 0 - 18 years who are displaying serious emotional, relationship, personal care or behavioural disturbances that impact on family and social relationships and/or their functioning in home, school or the workplace. While based out of JBC in Bendigo, CAMHS staff are also located at four regional locations across the Loddon-Campaspe, Southern Mallee region.
