Our Journey

What an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our dynamic team, overseeing with a group of other Grade 3 and 4’s. You will be also be an integral part of the Monash Health, Nutrition and Dietetics Senior Dietitian team on a part time ongoing basis. You will be based at our Thomas Street Dialysis Unit and provide expertise and clinical leadership across all sites within the department.

A Day in the Life

In this respected, Senior Dietitian position, you will be an inspiring leader that utilises your expert clinical knowledge to:

  • Champion the Dietetic profile and importance of nutrition care across renal dialysis
  • Establish strong relationships with Senior Medical, Nursing and Allied Health to optimise nutrition care for our patients
  • Empower the team to drive research and impactful quality improvement projects
  • Mentor Grade 1 and 2 Dietitians working in the department to achieve equitable patient-centred care
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning and accountability

What you bring:

  • You have demonstrated experienced in the delivery of clinical education and clinical supervision
  • You enjoy developing others, are highly organised and a clear and warm communicator.
  • You lead by example, thrive in a fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based dietetic interventions
  • You have proven leadership experience that fosters a culture teamwork and continuous learning and development

What you need:

  • Relevant original or certified copies of qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Hold or are working towards post graduate qualifications
  • Eligibility for full membership as a Dietitian of Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising APD membership
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Australian working rights
  • proof of immunisation
  • current Employee Working with Children Check
