Senior Commercial Manager Major Road Projects Victoria Working at Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) means being part of something big. We oversee more than 50 projects as a cornerstone of Victoria’s Big Build, including some of the State’s most important roads. *Salary range $200,000-$235,000 plus super

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: 

• Supporting and guiding Commercial Managers and project teams in the evaluation of tenders and preparation of recommendations, including being part of briefings and advice to the Program Directors, Delivery Directors, Director Commercial and other Executive team members;
• Providing senior commercial support and guidance for projects in delivery within relevant programs to ensure commercial positions of all projects is effectively managed;
• Providing senior professional leadership to others within the commercial team, including commercial and contracts managers, as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Director Commercial, Delivery Directors, Program Directors and project team members (including cost controllers and schedulers), all work groups and stakeholders;

This leadership role will see you use your current extensive commercial experience, ideally within a infrastructure or construction space in the government, however we highly encourage people from all backgrounds and sectors to apply, as we value diversity in experience and thinking. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, and your credibility in the public sector, political savviness and impressive communication skills are all key capabilities to be successful. You will be able to demonstrate senior experience directing and influencing multi-disciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver high quality outcomes.
