POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, you will coordinate a wide range of communication activities to promote the work of the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA).

You will work closely with the Authority's planning, delivery and asset strategy teams to maintain a thorough understanding of the Authority's projects, project pipeline and priority programs of work.

  • Coordinate communication and engagement activities
  • Drive the creation and approvals for engaging branded content
  • Manage project pipelines and priority programs of work
  • Work within an ‘agency style' approach

What you will need to be successful

You will be a strategic thinker who is able to effectively work with, and influence key stakeholders on communication, community engagement, media and creative content opportunities. The portfolio will be diverse with competing priorities. To manage this, you will perform at your best, in a dynamic, fast paced environment where you will have multiple deliverables.

  • An agency account management background
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively identify communications opportunities and risks

A tertiary qualification related to marketing, communications and media would be an advantage.

About the Communications and Engagement Unit

A strategic function that leads the delivery of communications, community engagement, digital engagement, stakeholder relations and creative content development. It's our role to help the Authority tell a clear, compelling and consistent story.
