In this role you will:

• provide advice and support regarding effective evidence-based written and visual communication with a focus on driving an audience-focused communication culture
• work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build the capabilities of staff to ensure our written communication is effective, audience-centred and complies with relevant commission and government standards
• manage and lead the production of communication materials while considering and proactively supporting evolving digital, media and social media requirements

Position details

The Publications and Design Senior Communications Advisor is a key leadership role in our growing and highly valued Strategic Communications team. This position has responsibility for:

• leading and delivering key strategic communication projects, including the annual report
• providing leadership of the organisation's written and visual communication standards, encouraging excellence in service delivery and processes, and a culture of continuous review and improvement
• working with individuals and teams to bring the commission's objectives and narrative to life through clear, engaging and effective written and visual communications
• provide insights on crafting communications to meet commission objectives and audiences needs and expectations
