About the roles:
The Senior Consultant, Diversity and Inclusion will contribute expertise as well as practical and operational support to ensure that Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) embodies the values of Fairness, Courage, Care and Inclusion for our people and our clients.

Partnering with a range of stakeholders including initiative owners, VLA's Diversity networks and senior executives, this role will provide specialised advice to design, implement and monitor organisational wide D&I action plans in our Inclusion Framework. The role also supports collaborative approaches to understanding and addressing needs and planning processes across VLA to embed a Client First approach.

To ensure that our inclusion initiatives align with VLA's broader strategic priorities, one role will report into the Associate Director, D&I in People and Culture, while the other will have a dual reporting line to this role and the Director, Client Services and Sector Engagement within our Regions and Service Delivery directorate.

About you:
Passionate about impacting organisational culture to create an inclusive and supportive workplace, you are an individual with experience in the development and implementation of D&I frameworks, action plans and initiatives. You will have strong project management and facilitation skills, which will enable you to influence and engage effectively with stakeholders and people from diverse backgrounds.
