About Us
Road Safety Camera Program (RSCP) is a business unit within the Police, Community Safety and Communications division of the Department of Justice and Community Safety. RSCP is responsible for managing the operation of fixed and mobile cameras and associated services in Victoria.
The Traffic Camera Services team has overall responsibility for monitoring the State's contractor that delivers a wide range of road safety camera services. Responsibilities of this team include contract management, issue and risk management, change management, finance and stakeholder management.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Manager, Traffic Camera Services Compliance, the Senior Contracts Officer is primarily responsible for managing contract performance issues and providing authoritative advice and information to internal and external stakeholders concerning contractual obligations of the contract partner. The Senior Contracts Officer leads a small team of compliance officers who monitor, investigate and report on the contract partner's performance against key performance indicators and service standards and manage incidents of non-compliance. The Senior Contracts Officer regularly makes recommendations for improvement and monitors corrective actions undertaken by the contractor to address issues identified.
