An exciting opportunity to be part of a major business transformation project with the VBA and expand on your Data Analyst experience in 2022.

We currently have a 2 Year, Fixed Term Opportunity available for an Experienced Data Analyst to join our fast paced, dynamic team.

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, the primary responsibility as Senior Data Analyst is to continue to build, expand and maintain the existing Azure data analytics platform. You will work with structured and unstructured data and have a good understanding of modern analytics capabilities including data models and Microsoft PowerBI.

The VBA is currently progressing an aggressive Business Systems Transformation program. As a result, the Senior Data Analyst will be tasked with expanding the development of the existing Data Analytics Platform (DAP) as the delivery of the BST systems roadmap transitions the architecture from the current state to the future state. The candidate will deliver key analytics deliverables in consultation with the Senior Data Designer and other members of the Data Office team.

What we are looking for?

  • Extensive experience in Database and Data warehouse such as Microsoft Azure platform, with knowledge of Azure Data factory, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, DAX, Data modelling.
  • Must have advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including Power BI, PowerApps, Power Query, DAX
  • Demonstrated ability to be pro-active, professional, customer-focused, organised, and self-managed to deliver a consistently high level of output and service in a deadline and fast-paced environment.
