Outstanding candidates are encouraged to apply for positions now open at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre – a place where our normal days are extraordinary; as are the people we care for.

Peter Mac is one of a handful of integrated cancer research, education and treatment centres in the world. Each day our team strives to provide the very best in cancer care, even better treatments and potential cancer cures for all people affected by cancer.

Globally, we are facing one of the most pivotal times in the pursuit of cancer cures, and Peter Mac stands at its forefront. Together, we aim to lead a new era of cancer prevention, care and discovery, supported by state-of-the-art facilities at our new home within the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre building.

Your role in our future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Dietitian (grade 3) with oncology experience to be based in this part-time 12-month fixed term (maternity leave) position within the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department of Peter Mac. The successful applicant will provide evidence based specialised nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and ambulatory patients in a multidisciplinary care setting at the Melbourne campus, and may be required to attend the Box Hill and Moorabbin campuses. This position is not linked with a specific clinical workload, however the successful applicant will work in/across major tumour streams, including head and neck, gastrointestinal and/or haematology, as negotiated within the department.

In addition to clinical leadership responsibilities, this position includes the provision of education/training, leading and supporting team members with quality improvement projects and research. We are seeking an experienced and hard-working senior clinician with excellent leadership, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
