ABOUT THE ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable Senior Dual Diagnosis clinician to join our vibrant and passionate multi-disciplinary team at the Mercy Mental Health - Wyndham Clinic to provide clinical services to consumers with significant mental health, specifically impacted by illicit substances and alcohol issues. Be part friendly team in providing an accessible, high quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community of Wyndham.
Part time, permanent, 4 days a week (0.8EFT).
Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4
Expanded hours roster
Provide quality AOD assessments, capacity building across the service and externally
Provide recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families
The Senior clinician provides clinical and leadership support within the team.
ABOUT YOU:
Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse with completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a post graduate psychiatric/mental health nursing qualification
Previous experience working in the AOD sector
Enrolled in an AOD studies or have relevant AOD qualification
Experience working as a Senior clinician
An active team member with ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
Participate in quality improvement activities
