Your new role:

We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Electronic Collections Team as Senior Electronic Collections Officer on a Full-time Permanent Ongoing basis. Reporting to the Team Leader, Electronic Collections, the role will be responsible for reviewing telecommunication intercepts and surveillance whilst mentoring and coaching less experienced Electronic Collections Officers. This may include advising on appropriate methodologies and techniques and the application of legislation, policies and procedures.

Duties include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to Electronic Collections Officers on complex operational matters
  • Reviewing electronic collections and analysing data to support investigations
  • Preparing complex reports on data collected to inform investigations and support decision making
  • Performing complex analysis and assessment of internet interceptions
  • Assessing operational requirements to ensure service deliveries are maintained to a high standard including rostering of shift workers
  • Extracting, analysing and collating valuable intelligence contained in ECU collections and populating into Collection Intelligence Profiles
  • Identifying, developing and reviewing standards and procedures to ensure documents remain relevant to operational requirements
  • Working closely with investigators, analysts, and other operational staff

This role is a great opportunity for an individual who has well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with some experience in analysing large amounts of confidential / sensitive information and an awareness of telecommunications interception and surveillance devices.
