The North East Link Project will deliver the missing link in Melbourne's road network that will finally complete the Metropolitan Ring Road by connecting the M80 to the Eastern Freeway to improve outer north-south links for road freight movement and improve travel time and reliability.

About North East Link

North East Link is the biggest ever investment in Melbourne's north-east – changing the way people move around Melbourne.

Victoria's longest road tunnels will fix the missing link in our city's freeway network, take 15,000 trucks off local roads a day and slash travel times by up to 35 minutes. We'll also complete the Ring Road in Greensborough, overhaul the Eastern Freeway, build Melbourne's first dedicated busway and the North East Trail – more than 34km of walking and cycling paths.

About the Opportunity

As our Senior Environment Specialist, you will be embedded into the North Delivery Package, working alongside the Land Planning and Environment team as part of a multi-disciplinary environment team.

Reporting to the Package Director, you will play a vital role in the completion of project approvals, preparation of contract documents and in the compliance of delivery packages and approval conditions. The Senior Environment Specialist is responsible for supporting senior management with high quality advice, reports, and communication around key issues throughout the project lifecycle. This position is based at 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, however it will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all of our site offices (Collingwood and Watsonia). This role will have a proposed commencement of mid May 2023.

About You
