POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Senior Executive Business Coordinator working across both the Divisional Priority Communities Vaccinations and Priority Communities COVID-19 Response Units you will provide a range of executive support functions to the Directors of both units as well as provide key administrative support work, including: executive administrative support and diary management, providing portfolio-wide ad-hoc administrative support, providing overflow support for the Executive Director's Office, progressing approval requests, managing briefings, process improvement, answering queries and progressing outstanding work requests.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience as an executive assistant providing end-to-end executive support and high-level administrative experience, you will be able to produce written letters, emails and correspondence of the highest quality, have very highly developed customer service skills and be very organised and self-motivated.

Department of Families, Fairness and Housing

The creation of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in early 2021 has allowed for a dedicated focus on community wellbeing and the social recovery of Victoria. The department is delivering on important work started before the pandemic and will continue to lead bold and innovative reform amongst Victoria's diverse communities.

The department includes the Child Protection, Prevention of Family Violence, Housing and Disability and Ageing and Carers teams. The department is also responsible for the key portfolios of Multicultural Affairs, LGBTQI+ Equality, Veterans and the offices for Women and Youth, as well as delivering the department's response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. 

The department also supports Family Safety Victoria, Homes Victoria and Respect Victoria.

Priority Communities COVID-19 Response Branch

The Priority Communities COVID-19 Response Branch supports diverse Victorian communities impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and seeks to promote vaccination rates amongst Victoria's priority communities, including young people, multicultural and multifaith Victorians, senior Victorians, carers, LGBTIQ+ Victorians, women, victim survivors, veterans, Victorians with disability, and Victorians living or working in settings supported by DFFH.

 The Branch works across Victorian government departments and in partnership with Victoria's diverse communities, to support individuals, families and communities to stay safe from coronavirus (COVID-19) and to feel informed and empowered to access the COVID-19 vaccination.

The Branch has two units – the Multicultural Coronavirus Response Unit and the Priority Communities Vaccination Unit – bringing together policy, program and community engagement functions to deliver initiatives and activities that support DFFH's priority communities and settings.
