The Senior Governance and Risk Officer will Provide high level advice, verbal briefings and support to the Executive Leadership Team on a wide range of issues, including privacy, risk management, governance, and government policy.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Executive Director - Corporate, the Senior Governance and Risk Officer will Provide high level advice, verbal briefings and support to the Executive Leadership Team on a wide range of issues, including privacy, risk management, governance, and government policy.

 ABOUT YOU                    

Our ideal candidate would be able to successfully demonstrate the following key skills:

• Coordinate and advise on assurance and compliance activities across the organisation
• Support the Executive Director of Corporate in their role as Service Victoria's Privacy Officer
• Collaborate and coordinate the development of Service Victoria's risk management framework
• Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks, trends and innovations
• Initiate, manage and maintain close liaison and effective relationships with stakeholders across Service Victoria and the Department of Premier and Cabinet
• Provide secretariat support to numerous internal and external committees

QUALIFICATIONS        

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline would be desirable
