About the role
A Full Time position is now available at Eastern Health in the Occupational Therapy Hand Therapy Team. The position offers opportunity to lead an experienced team of Hand Therapy Clinicians and apply excellent clinical skills in acute hand therapy within inpatient and outpatient settings.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Extensive hand therapy clinical experience and recognised as a leader in the field
  • Ability to lead development, implementation and evaluation of models of care, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the management of acute and chronic and upper limb conditions and commitment to ongoing professional development and specialization.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development of others

The successful applicant will demonstrate professionalism, clinical excellence and consistency of practice in hand therapy. We seek team leaders keen to learn and contribute to health outcomes through participation in quality improvement and evidence based practice activities.
