The Department of Transport (DoT) brings together all transport modes to design, plan, build and operate Victoria's transport system. Senior Information and Data Access Management Advisor

  • Annual Salary Range: VPS5 $103,920 - $125,735 per annum plus super
  • Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-Time
  • Usual Work Location: Melbourne CBD 

 

About you

The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to the following:

 


  • Provide expert advice in relation to information security that impacts on the decisions made by key stakeholders


  • Apply well developed specialist skills to contribute to the development of complex policies in a relevant specialist area


  • Provide expert advice and influence key stakeholders to justify proposals and policy directions based on data analysis and specialist technical knowledge.


  • Exercise professional independent judgement to foster an environment that emphasizes knowledge sharing and group participation to ensure success


  • Provide advanced specialist communications advice to internal stakeholders in order to negotiate and achieve successful business outcomes


  • Keep abreast of and respond to emerging issues and ideas, analysing data and research and finding evidence to help inform decisions and actions

Qualifications for the role:

Mandatory:

Qualification in relevant field, for example Science or Technology with an Information Security specialisation

Role specific requirements:

Demonstrable experience delivering against objectives and managing information projects
