THE OPPORTUNITY:

Museums Victoria, Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual to join the Technology Strategy and Delivery team in providing an ICT server and desktop support to Museums Victoria.

Working with Museums Victoria Technology team, core functions of this position include:  

  • Provide professional and customer focused technical services, administration, monitoring, maintenance, support, advice and knowledge for provisioning of one or more technologies.
  • Undertake technical investigations to resolve complex and specialised technical issues, using sound judgement to escalate as needed.Support infrastructure related software including VMware, TrendMicro, RDS, Microsoft 365, File and Storage Services, Print and Document Services, Microsoft Teams and System Centre Configuration Manager/Endpoint Configuration Manager.

 Relevant skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience undertaking technical investigations to resolve complex and specialised technical issues related to the Microsoft stack of applications, Active Directory, Windows 10, Office 365, Endpoint Manager, Apple products, printers and peripherals.
  • Strong analytical aptitude for understanding business-critical issues and escalation processes.
  • Demonstratable experience working amongst teams at a senior level, together with the ability to collaboratively resolve problems to achieve desired outcomes and to deliver customer-focused and responsive services.
  • A sound knowledge of server configurations, security patching and backup and restore operations.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Reporting to the ICT Service Delivery Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity for a committed individual to apply their skills and gain experience in supporting the Technology Strategy and Delivery team. This role is a full-time, ongoing. The salary on offer is $68,884 per annum (Base of grade) plus 10% superannuation.
